Built by Star-Lite Construction Ltd., this popular neighbourhood is located in south of Eaglewood Drive in the south end of the community. Homes for sale in Eagle Ridge are situated on well-sized lots, between 1.5 acres and 4 acres, and with this comes a higher price point.
One of the reasons why Eagle Ridge is so sought-after is because of the amenities offered: a short distance to the downtown, area schools, plenty of things to do, and homes suitable for families. As well, homes are luxurious, with modern features, ample space, and substantial acreage.
Hanwell: Top Highlights
The community of Hanwell is mostly undeveloped land in its southern and western ends, with the Hanwell Recreation Park taking up a significant portion of this area. This large park is protected land with several walking and hiking trails, as well as ski and snowshoe rentals. Dogs are allowed and must be leashed (with the exception being the designated off-leash areas). Also in this area is the Hanwell Community Centre and Municipal Office, which has event spaces and a playground for the kids.
Hanwell also has a fire station, a grocery store, and a diner. Residents are in close distance to Garden Creek Falls, Kingswood Golf Course, and downtown Fredericton. Popular outdoor activities include hiking, snowmobiling, ATVing, horseback riding, and more.
